Dog disc, also known as canine disc or frisbee dog, is an exciting sport and recreational activity where dogs and their owners participate in games involving catching a flying disc. This sport combines physical strength, obedience, and fun, providing both physical and mental exercise for dogs and their owners.
The Pakistan Dog Disc Association (PDDA) was established in 2024 to promote this unique sport in the country. The association plans to organize various activities, training workshops, and competitions to introduce the sport and foster stronger bonds between pets and their owners. Additionally, it aims to encourage healthy lifestyles and create a platform for dog enthusiasts.
The association was spearheaded by Zahid Aziz, a key planner and advocate for the sport in Pakistan. Under his leadership, the PDDA aspires to make dog disc a popular activity nationwide, providing a new avenue for young people and pet owners to connect through play and affection. The organization also seeks to represent Pakistan on local and international stages, showcasing the skills of Pakistani dogs and their owners.
