Location & Overview
Sargodha Division is one of the nine administrative divisions of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in the central region of the province and consists of four districts:
- Sargodha
- Khushab
- Mianwali
- Bhakkar
Sargodha is known as the "City of Eagles" due to its strong military presence and the PAF Base Sargodha. The division is a major agricultural hub, famous for producing citrus fruits (kinnoo), wheat, and sugarcane. Mianwali has a rich sports culture, producing notable athletes, while Bhakkar and Khushab contribute significantly to Punjab’s agricultural economy.
Sargodha Division Flying Disc Association (SDFDA)
The Sargodha Division Flying Disc Association (SDFDA) operates under the Punjab Flying Disc Association (PFDA), which is affiliated with the Pakistan Flying Disc Federation (PFDF). The association is committed to promoting flying disc sports, including Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf, and Double Disc Court (DDC), across all districts in the division.
General Secretary – Haji Ansar Iqbal 
Haji Ansar Iqbal serves as the General Secretary of the Sargodha Division Flying Disc Association. Under his leadership, the association is actively working to:
✅ Organize flying disc tournaments and leagues in schools, colleges, and sports clubs.
✅ Establish training academies for young athletes to develop their skills.
✅ Promote community-based disc sports events to increase awareness and participation.
✅ Strengthen Sargodha Division's representation in provincial and national-level flying disc competitions.
Role within PFDF
As part of the Pakistan Flying Disc Federation (PFDF), the Sargodha Division Flying Disc Association plays a vital role in expanding the reach of the sport in Punjab. The association follows national and international flying disc standards, ensuring professional development for athletes in the region.
