Location & Overview
Faisalabad Division is one of the nine administrative divisions of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in the central region of the province and consists of four districts:
- Faisalabad
- Jhang
- Toba Tek Singh
- Chiniot
Faisalabad, often called the "Manchester of Pakistan," is the country’s largest industrial and textile hub. It plays a key role in Pakistan’s economy, contributing significantly to the textile, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. The division is also known for its rich sports culture, with Faisalabad producing national and international athletes in various disciplines.
Faisalabad Division Flying Disc Association (FDFA)
The Faisalabad Division Flying Disc Association (FDFA) operates under the Punjab Flying Disc Association (PFDA), which is affiliated with the Pakistan Flying Disc Federation (PFDF). The association is committed to promoting flying disc sports across the division, including Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf, and Double Disc Court (DDC).
General Secretary – Najma Choudhary
Najma Choudhary serves as the General Secretary of the Faisalabad Division Flying Disc Association. She is actively leading efforts to:
✅ Organize flying disc tournaments and inter-school/university competitions.
✅ Establish training programs to nurture young athletes.
✅ Promote women’s participation in flying disc sports.
✅ Work with local sports authorities to enhance flying disc infrastructure.
✅ Strengthen Faisalabad’s representation in provincial and national-level flying disc competitions.
Role within PFDF
As part of the Pakistan Flying Disc Federation (PFDF), the Faisalabad Division Flying Disc Association is dedicated to following national and international standards for flying disc sports. Najma Choudhary’s leadership aims to make Faisalabad a key center for flying disc sports, inspiring young players to compete at national and international levels.
