Location & Overview
Malakand Division is an administrative division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Pakistan. It is known for its stunning landscapes, mountainous terrain, and rich cultural heritage. The division consists of the following districts:
- Malakand
- Swat
- Lower Dir
- Upper Dir
- Shangla
- Buner
- Chitral (Upper & Lower)
Malakand has a strong sports culture, with a growing interest in modern sports like frisbee and flying disc games. The youth in the region are increasingly participating in Ultimate Frisbee, Disc Golf, and Double Disc Court (DDC).
Malakand Division Frisbee Association (MDFA-KPK)
The Malakand Division Frisbee Association (MDFA-KPK) operates under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Flying Disc Association (KPK FDA), which is affiliated with the Pakistan Flying Disc Federation (PFDF). The association is committed to promoting frisbee sports at the grassroots level by organizing:

✅ Coaching and training programs for new players
✅ School and college frisbee initiatives
✅ Community engagement for youth sports development
General Secretary – Zahidullah
Zahidullah serves as the General Secretary of the Malakand Division Frisbee Association (MDFA-KPK). Additionally, he holds the position of Additional Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Flying Disc Association (KPK FDA).
Under his leadership, the association is actively working to:
✅ Expand frisbee sports in Malakand and surrounding districts
✅ Develop new playing facilities and training centers
✅ Strengthen Malakand Division’s representation at the provincial and national levels
✅ Encourage youth participation through outreach programs
Role within PFDF
As part of the Pakistan Flying Disc Federation (PFDF), Zahidullah plays a key role in developing flying disc sports in KPK. His leadership in both Malakand Division and KPK FDA helps in establishing a strong frisbee network across the province.
